visiting Vlisco & De Kantfabriek

Preliminary planning is as follows:

Depart from CS Tilburg by bus to Vlisco
(estimated departure time 8:30 a.m.)
to visit the VLISCO factory, museum and shop (guided tour)
from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Lunch will be provided - the bus will take us to the next venue

Guided Tour Kantfabriek from approx. 2 till 4 p.m.

Depart from Horst  to Tilburg CS, arrival around 5 p.m.

Max. number of participants: 8
Places are strictly on a first come first serve basis.
Both SDA members and non members are welcome!

Note: the visit to Vlisco is not suitable for disabled persons or those with difficulty walking.

Vlisco - is well known for their original Dutch wax prints -
le veritable hollandais.

In Museum De Kantfabriek (Lace factory) you will see how lace was made in former days. A historic overview will be given. You will also visit an exhibition from Frans Megens and his students. For photographs and more information please see www.kantfabriek.nl
