Intro
At the beginning of every workshop season we like to invite you to come and visit our studio. We want to show you all new materials we found for you as well as present the upcoming workshops, related to textile and surface design. The Open House will be held on September 4 and 5. We will start both mornings with a mini workshop (registration required, to be booked and paid in advance) followed by demonstrations which are free to attend. There will also be special discounts and visitors get free access to the Audax Textile Museum.

As from 1pm there are free demo's given by Gil De Vloo as well:
1. Coloured "Puff" (expanding paste) or PEBEO TOUCH TEXTILE: VOLUME, GLOSS and METALLIQUE
2. Regulare puff combined with rust
3. A new clear transparant textile foil
During this afternoon Gil will show you the applications of the new Pebeo series of Touch Textile. Thru drawing, directly from the applicator and screenprinting with thermofax screens on textile. Inspiration source for this method is a new and beautiful cotton scarf from ARTY's.
Gil will also show you a patination proces in combination with expanding paste. This will be done by screen printing the puff with thermofax screens and painting the iron base followed by rust on top with a brush.
Furthermore she will also demonstrate the use of a clear textile foil which can be combined with a clear and colourless adhesive or white spunfab. The underlying colours will stand out more clearly resulting in a ton sur ton effect or matt versus shiny.
Hours from 1pm till 4pm
