2-day class with Ana Lisa Hedstrom (USA)

SHIBORI is the perfect process for transforming old or discarded garments into engaging wearables.

During this 2day class we will use stitch resist, Arashi pole wrapping and clamp resist to upcycle our garments. Dye sublimation transfer printing and heatsetting textures are suitable for acrylics and polyester. Natural fibres may be dipped with indigo or painted with another suitable thickened dye. Wool sweaters may be fulled, cut up and worked or mended and decorated with needle felting.

This class is for both beginning and advanced students.
