Andrea Noeske-Porada

Ever since the 70s, I occupied myself artistically along side my study of law. My interest has always been primarily for abstract, reduced, and form-based, spatial art. Later in life, I went for studies of art history and Fine Arts at the European Art Academy in Trier.

In my current artistic work the construction itself takes first place, although the changeability and the liveliness of the finished object are important to me. I discovered the felt‘s potential for my spatial creation in 2004. To learn about the material, I completed a 2 years education at the Felt School in Oberrot/ Germany. Since then the felt is one of my favourite materials for making sculptures.
